Vitamin Sea

Startin’ off with a bit of a confession (and a “behind the scenes” look) here … Usually the way these things go is the Spirit hits me with an idea then i’ll search for some pictures in my library to go with it while praying on scripture that will work, then, search for scripture, write an outline and finally the copy … So, yes, Mrs. Willis, i did pay attention and actually learn somethin’ in your class !!!! 🙂

The reason i’m tellin’ y’all this is ‘cause this mornin’ someone who looks a LOT like yours truly decided to get ahead of his skis and started thinkin of all of the cool pictures that would go with a great askapop post when he woke up … So while the pouring water into the coffee maker the Spirit decided to take that moment to give the beautiful “Bless his heart” moment and lay this one on me …

So, here we go …. A devotional that is totally NOT what i was planning but way better !!!

What vitamins are most important for your body ??? (personally, i think Fred and Bam-Bam are the best, but, Betty’s important too!) … I kid, i kid …

At my age, i do now take a multi-vitamin and occasionally put a green thing on my plate, but, i still think the most important vitamin on the planet is Vitamin SEA … And it seems to have been ever since, heck, in forever! …

Whether it’s for food, drinking, economy, relaxing, travel, weather, or a ton of other reasons, we simply can’t get around just how vital water is to our daily existence … When we traveled to the Holy Land we visited 3 different bodies of water and drank from Jacob’s well …

We attend a church that, literally, has “By the Sea” in it’s name and some of our our favorite “date day” activities is to hang out at state parks that have “Springs” in the title … But, having said all of that, the most important water isn’t wet … It’s the Living Water that Christ taught us about at Jacob’s well 2 millennia ago and still flows freely thanks to the Spirit …

Just a thought from a guy that does have his cup of coffee and has definitely been reminded WHO runs this ministry … Hint … It ain’t me 🙂 …
