About AskAPop & Connections

Hey y’all, I’m Cecil — most folks just call me AskAPop.

I’m a grateful husband, dad, pappeye, and follower of Christ who loves sharing real-life stories, encouragement, laughter, and the hope we have in Him. What started as simple devotional thoughts and conversations has grown into a little ministry that now reaches people in countries all around the world (see the map below).

AskAPop is the personal side — my own devotions, stories, Round Tuit ministry, videos, and everyday thoughts, (what we call an “Observational Ministry”).

Connections is the broader ministry arm that flows out of Westminster by the Sea Presbyterian Church in Daytona Beach, Florida. Through Connections we seek to connect people to Jesus, to each other, and to meaningful ways they can serve and give back.

At the heart of everything we do is our family motto:

“It’s not what we gain, but what we give, that measures the worth of the life we live.”

Whether it’s handing out Round Tuits, teaching Sunday school, posting a short devotion, or just taking time to listen and encourage someone — the goal is always the same: Point people to Jesus and show them that giving still matters.

We give God all the glory for every person who is encouraged, every smile that appears when they receive a Tuit, and every country that lights up on the map.

If something here blesses you, or if you’d like some Round Tuits for yourself or your own ministry, please reach out. I’d love to hear from you!Let’s stay connected:

Thank you for stopping by, and may the Lord bless you and yours!
