G R A T I T U D E

Yesterday i was absolutely fortunate enough to get to spend two hours of my life with some of the most precious people on the planet … Many of whom had been counted as trusted and loved friends not by years, but decades … The ones that were new, well, that made it even MORE special because they were brought in or “made” (children!) from the love of those same said friends !!!

God sent His counselor here to stand by us always and He never fails … And i truly believe that He uses those closest to us to show us His Love when we need it most, and, in turn, when those same folks need our shoulder, He gives us the strength to be there for them …

Yesterday my beloved gathered a dozen folks to “celebrate my birthday” because she’s just that kind of special … And, i will be forever grateful that she is always thinking to do that … But, to be honest, i really feel that we spent the time not celebrating anyone’s trips around the sun as much as the bonds that He can make when loving people can come together as one ….

Just some thoughts from a VERY GRATEFUL (and little older!) person this day …
