ya know, I was sittin at lunch watchin’ my favorite tube of you when one of my furry family members reminded me of just how blessed I was right that very minute 🙂 … you see, this particular family member, Willie, had chosen to join our family when he was just a coupla weeks old and his colony decided that a one eyed kitten wasn’t good for their survival, so, he hung out in our garage (I guess the fact that I do take care of some of the other feral cats in the area may have been a hint for him that it was a safe place) … he made himself known and after a trip to the vet that he absolutely did NOT like, followed by equally disliked time in quarantine, he became a full fledged member of the family … he’s now the biggest cat here and we can’t imagine life without him! we are absolutely so blessed to have him, but, then again, that’s the way it is and has been for every soul that’s crossed our threshold … our Good Shepherd has given us the perfect example of how to Love and Share and it’s through those two gifts that we experience so much joy … now, I’m pretty sure I’ll never have to fight a lion like our buddy David in the reading we have today, but, if need be, I’d sure try because everyone in this house deserves and gets that level of loyalty from this shepherd, trying to follow a much, much greater Shepherd’s example …
