ya know I was lucky enough to have grown up in some of the most beautiful country in the world, West Virginia … now, I know, I know, wherever YOU grew up I’m sure is probably right there up there too, but, if you now live anywhere OTHER than where you grew up, I venture to say that when you’re traveling “home” the journey is a huge part of it … seeing what’s changed and what hasn’t, enjoying the JOURNEY instead of just putting miles behind you … well, what if I told you that the feeling you’re having there is EXACTLY how Jesus wants us to feel every day ??? … yes, He did make sure that we have directions to our final destination, but, while here on earth, I can see in my minds eye Him with a smile on His face most of the time … why, you say … well, when He was creating things (splitting hairs here, but, Three in One!), what did God say as it was created …. hmmmm … it was … not “ok” … not “meh” … it was “GOOD” … so, when Jesus came and checked out the handy-work, I could see him explaining Faith like a mustard seed growing into a ginormous plant with expressions and a smile while enjoying every bit of the life that He had down here … just as He wants us to do … and, in His prayer that He taught us to pray, it even says to make earth just a bit more like Heaven … hmmm … so, I’m gonna take His advice and use my time and talents (ha! see what I did there, if you do the reading, you’ll be bustin’ a gut too!) and enjoy the journey while trying to do my best to make earth a little more like Heaven each and every day … how about you join me 🙂 ….
