Better Together

here’s a shocker … another bible lesson ‘cause of breakfast 😛 …. in all transparency, this one started after seein’ a video from https://www.youtube.com/@BibleNerdMinistries yesterday … that was still on my mind this am while makin’ breakfast for lil’bit … you see, she was callin’ back to one of the bible verses i’m listing here and i looked at our breakfast and thought … eggs “good” …. beef “good” … taters “good” …. mix them … AWESOME … and then i started thinking about how many things are BETTER because they’re TOGETHER … think about our ministries … you could have the most AWESOME outreach division in the WORLD but if administration and education aren’t helping to get things to the people and teaching folks how to help it’s not going to last, or, you can have the most SPECTACULAR music and worship divisions but if operations doesn’t keep the seats clean and things working it wont last very long …. but, you may be thinking, “ok cec, that’s well and good, but, i’m not a church” …. great thinkin’ … but, you see, Jesus showed us that it means just as much no matter WHAT we’re doing … even when he sent his best friends (disciples) out, he didn’t want to have them go it alone … he knew that they would need to work in teams … we are MADE in His image, after-all, and, let’s face it He is part of the most perfect team in all of the universe as Father, Son and Holy Spirit … just a thought from a guy who’s professional email tagline hasn’t changed in years and it definitely fits in with this post … “Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork” ….
