starting this one off with a confession … don’t know ‘bout y’all, but, in the year of our Lord (at the time of this writing, although there’s only 10 days left in it!) 2025 it’s gotten to be where “inboxes” whether virtual, physical, or voicemail tend to be full of what we in the States affectionately refer to as “spam” (which i’ve got a problem with ‘cause i like that tasty treat, but i digress!) … now, on to the confession, it used to be that whenever a call would come in or an email would ding or a letter would arrive it was almost as if it was a siren’s call automatically go grab it, but, now, unless it’s got a special ringtone or marked a certain way, it goes into the “look at or listen to pile” … and, when i do, i’ll go through 50 pieces of mail to have 2 that are not ads or 60 voice mails to have 1 that’s not trying to get an opinion or sell me something or, well, you get the picture, so, this morning before getting ready for church was my time to go through the physical mail pile and as i finished it hit me, well, the Spirit did anyway … these companies spend money to send this stuff out and they wouldn’t do it if NO ONE EVER ends up getting their stuff, buying their pizza, going on their trips, etc etc, so, why do they do it ??? because they know that some WILL … hmmmm …. kinda like if we spread the word some will land on hard soil and just bounce off, some will take and then roll, but some will actually hear it and take root … we don’t know if someone’s been on the fence about God or confused about Grace and just needs YOUR witness and THAT’S why God’s tugging your heart to share a quick word, thought, scripture, tuit, or just smile with them, but, if He is, please do so because you never know, THAT may be the needle in the haystack that leads a perfect stranger, friend, or family member to be another brother or sister in Christ … dag’gummit, now i have to look at junk mail in a whole new light, but, i guess it’s worth it 😊 …. have an AWESOME day as i change my habit’s on clearing out my spam folder …

how do you feel about witnessing (for me, it’s gotten easier over the years, but, honestly, it’s scary putting your faith out there!) … how about simply sharing a smile or love or kindness ??? (that’s a powerful witness in today’s society too!) ….
