Take Me Home Sandy Roads

as you may have figured out if you have watched/read the last couple of posts, we’ve been out of town on a long overdue vacation …. we used to go every year, but … life … you know J … don’t get me wrong, it’s still top of the to-do list each year, but, with the zoo @ the house and all, the opportunities just don’t come as often … having said that, we had a BLAST … lil’bit got to meet family he’d only seen on screens, Toni and i revisited places we’d seen before and while they may have changed a bit and got better, it proved that Toni still ages better than anything else in the world J … but, what i’m here about is what happened at the END of the trip …. and lil’bit summed it up best …. when we brought him in the house and his feet hit the floor, “happy feet” made and appearance and, regardless of the long drive and how tired everyone was, he was elated to see his pets, things, and HOME …. it reminded me of our tour guide when we got on the bus in Israel …. Leo simply said “welcome Home” …. no matter how much fun vacations and seeing new things are, it seems no matter how far we roam home is truly where the heart is, which FINALLY leads me to the point i’m making here (‘bout time, huh!) … our ministry is called “connections” because, well, it’s meant to make, build, solidify, and, if needed, repair connections to folks that call WBTS their home church, no matter how far away they roam, giving them a chance to show “happy feet” anytime they read one of our askapops, but if you call a different church home (or are either searching for one or don’t wish to look for one right now,) we hope that this can be a “home away from home” for you, too, because, as Leo had said when we got on the bus, we’re ALL brothers and sisters in Christ !!!!  now, if you’ll excuse me, his happy feet led to pulling out every toy he owned……….

Bible Verse

Colossians 3:12-17 / 1 John 4:7-21
