Wood You Believe It

walking lil’bit today i saw him pick up a stick from our oak tree (well, first some leaves, then a stick, but, i digress) … you see, we stopped where we were on the sidewalk not even past our neighbors house and he ended up enjoying our tree for the next several minutes just there in the moment while i realized that once again that tree had looked over our family as it had been doing for years … you see, when it was just me in the house it was very small, but, as the house became a home the little oak became a mighty oak just as faith starts off when we first accept Him in our lives we see Him in Scripture and in the Church, but, as our “Christian Muscles” (or, as Pappeye used to say, as the Christian Battery get’s stronger) we start to see Him in more and more places until, well, we see him in the butter and garlic or in the cloud formations or in, yes, the trees and sticks 😊 because, you “wood” you believe, that seeing isn’t believing as much as BELIEVING IS SEEING … now, excuse me while i go and sing a song with lil’bit … i’ve heard something ‘bout a lumberjack, i guess that’s ok 😛 … if ya know, ya know !!!
