as some of y’all know one of the joys I get is to make my beloved breakfast in bed … and, as a bonus, now that includes lil’bit a lot of the time too (although he’s more of the “chowin’ in the high chair” kinda guy 🙂 ) …. so, menu IS important … I gotta find something both delicious and nutrious both for my blushin’ bride as well as a ramblin’ toddler, and somethin’ that don’t involve too much on the cleanup side either (I gotta work too, you know!) … so today, hey, what about bread …. no, not tasty enough ??? not filling enough ??? not nutritious enough ??? I agree, so, how about one of lil’bit’s favorites … french toast 🙂 … now we’re cookin’! (ha!, see what I did there!) … eggs, milk, tasty, AND filling … but, that bread is STILL there, it’s just SO MUCH MORE … but, it’s been CHANGED and can do SO MUCH MORE … hmmmm that got me thinkin’ (and writin’, obviously!) … you see, once He gets under our skin and in our Hearts, we are forever changed … just like that bread, from that point forward, we will forever be changed … we will will forever see the world through His lenses …. our bible readings today talk about two very powerful explanations of just how He can (and does!) change our lives … just a thought from a guy that can’t HELP but to SEE HIM EVERYWHERE since that hot summer day in 1983 … even when making french toast for two of the most special people on the planet 🙂 !!!!
