this may be a hankie alert … i was listenin’ to the radio this mornin after droppin’ my beloved off when they started talkin’ about somethin (wow, novel, i know!) and one of them was wishin’ they could go back and change somethin’ that they’d done ‘cause they had different information now .. that reminded me of a lesson that Pappeye taught me years ago … he lived by it and i’ve tried to do the same … make the best decision you can with the best information you have AT THAT TIME … then, if you shouldn’t have any regrets in your decision … if new information comes out, sure, you can change your mind and make different choices, but, don’t beat yourself up over hindsight because of information you didn’t have … that works ESPECIALLY for things that there’s NO WAY you would know the answer to … growing up, my mom had always told both of us that no matter what we needed to take care of each other because long after her and dad were gone that my brother and i would need to be there to take care of each other … when my little brother joined the church of New Jerusalem half way through his 16th year of life it devastated the family but, i would not want to have changed a SINGLE DAY before he went to heaven and done anything any differently because playing the “what if” game will make you crazy and, honestly, as followers of Christ, his race was run and death has no sting and we will meet again … i had definitely NOT planned on being the only one of the four musketeers around by the time my son and grandson made their appearance, but, again, i wouldn’t change a thing … trusting in Him and His plan means just that … TRUST … not playing the “if this” and “if that” … God put this on my heart to share today for a reason … i’m not sure why, but, if you’re the one that needs to hear / read / see it, then, i guess that’s why … God Bless You All !!!

Questions
have you ever had some decision that you’d made (or something happen) that kept coming back to bother you and made you keep thinking “what if….” … have you ever prayed to God to ask him to help you let it go?
