Resolutions … Remember All Your Tanks!

ok …. here’s one that i was honestly gonna write yesterday, as that’s when the Spirit hit me with it, but, then again, i followed my own advice with it, so, i’m writing and recording it today (hopefully it’ll make sense by then end 😊) … we were surprising some family members that were coming down to CFL for a trip and knew where their first stop was gonna be (they’d heard of “buc’ees” and knew there was one right at the turn of ’95 and ‘4) so, we were lying in wait when the Spirit hit me with an idea for an askapop (being the first of the year and the fact we were at a refueling station ….) i took some pictures but then did something i never done before, sent them to the connections team BEFORE making the post as a “guess what the Spirit’s leading me to do” teaser …. well, before i’d literally left the station Ashley’d replied with an awesome answer and, by the time Toni and i got home, a different direction for this post is here, not a combination of the two, but, the original two and then… more … you see … as we start the new year we DO tend to find things that we want to focus on “fixing” or making better and that’s 100% a-ok, but, remember, just like all of the other cars in the lot, there’s a lot of other things in our lives that also need tending to, so, when we’re at one pump (or charging station) we need to remember that there’s lots of others that need attention, too … and, there’s different TYPES of fuel we need, just as the mega-fueling station sells electricity, gas, diesel, food, fast energy, clothes, books, etc etc, our body AND soul needs to be both fed AND rested, entertained AND educated, exercised AND relaxed … our Bible verses today focus first on how Jesus is able to do amazing things and even takes the time to show us that it’s important to take a break (just as His Father did in the very beginning!) and then Paul reminding us to rely on each other and our traditions to lift one another up and love one another … so, yes, this one’s a day late because after coming home this guy focused on spending the last of his last day off of the holidays vegging with his sweetie catching up on tv and filling up a few more tanks ….

Bible Verses
