Makin a List Checkin’ It Twice

we can use the excuse that it’s the time of year, but, honestly, when are we NOT busy these days ??? i don’t know ‘bout you, but, if i could figure out how to get this big blue ball to take it’s good ole’ time in it’s spin and go, let’s say, 30 hours instead of 24 to make a full rotation each day, i may get ½ my stuff done, but, then again, that just means that there’d probably be another 10 things added to the list, so, there’s that 😊 … but, having said all that, between toddler’s toddlin, databases’ data’in, scriptures scripturin’, emails dingin’ and phones a ringin’ (along with all of the “one off stuff that we do this time of year!) it could be enough to send someone straight to the egg nog, but instead this ole guy says two prayers for each, one of gratitude and one of supplication, ‘cause, you see, that toddler toddlin brightens up my day in ways you can’t imagine, those databases, well, that means He gave me the knowledge to be able to create them and someone trusts me enough to work on them, scriptures, well, they kinda speak for themselves 😛 … emails, thankful that someone either cares enough to write me or needs me enough to write me, and same goes for the phone … it can go for each thing on the list … does it make it smaller, heck no, but, instead of the things that could make me frown, they now make me smile, and, let’s be honest, isn’t that always better each and every day !!! (plus, that means i’m CONSTANTLY in contact with the ONE that created me, hey, what’s better than THAT !!!) … just a thought from a guy that’s got more items on his to-do list than he’s got sense … here’s praying that Santa has a coal shortage and a very forgiving pen when going over his list this year !!!

Bible Verses

Luke 10:38-42 / Philippians 4:4-9
