ok … takin my lunch to do somethin’ other that eat today (no comments from the peanut gallery!) … ya see, one of my teammates, he’s awesome, they all are, made a spectacular suggestion that turned out to lead us down a great path and that got me thinkin’ about the motto we use on our team about “oars in the water” (if they’re all pointed in the same direction and everyone’s pullin’ their weight, we go the fastest) … it’s a great motto that has worked for years … i’m not sayin it’s always smooth, but, we do our best … now, how is this an ssa you wonder ??? well, it got me thinkin’ … we use the teamwork makes the dreamwork as a motto and it is super solid in almost EVERY aspect of life … unless that is, there’s a Lord in your life … ya know, there’s folks out there that say “God is my co-pilot” … or “what would Jesus do” … i’m guessing they’re on the right track but, personally, I’m screaming “Jesus, take the wheel!!!!” and begging “God, HELP ME” and not casually pondering questions about what He’d do … but, then again, that’s ‘cause He went from being my Savior to being my Lord and Savior a long time ago … the disciples were great (most of the time) at teamwork, but, when they were falling apart in the boat, they didn’t need another oar in the water, they needed their Lord to settle them down … He took it a step further and then some !!!! … i guess what i’m getting at here is, like Jesus had told us when reminding us of the two greatest commandments, love God with all your heart and soul, and then love your neighbor likewise … so, put God first and then try and love everyone else too … i’m thinking if you do that you won’t rock the boat too awful bad (ok, be honest, how many of you that grew up in the 70’s ARENT singing that song now!) …. welp, back to work with my awesome team … hope your day is at least HALF as GREAT as YOU are !!!
