the basic premise for this ssa was a sermon that Rev. Cara had given years ago that’d stuck with me and i’d “tweaked” a bit when talkin’ to youngens, and, i hope that’s ok with Cara, and, i really think it still fits … she’d used a piano stand as an example of stands that can hold extremely heavy objects and, when you think of it, most things that are made to sit on ground that isn’t always level tend to be made with three legs instead of four … it makes for (see what i did there!) a much more stable base … well … you know, that’s the same with our relationships too … we are made to have all of our relationships in THREE as well …. we are made to LOVE our neighbor, LOVE our God, and LOVE ourselves too … if any of those three are out of whack, then, we’ve got a hole that we tend to try and fill with something that, well, let’s just say ain’t so good for us … i’ll leave you to decide what that can be, but, a lot of folks tend to work on one or two of these at a time, neglecting the third leg, regardless of what that leg is … being a simple guy, i love Rev. Cara’s analogy of the Piano and it’s stand, because, if we neglect any of the three for too long, at first, the piano will start to get out of tune cause the tension will start to come into play and cause issues, and, eventually, if we let things go too long, then, the whole thing can come crashing down, but, if we give all three legs care and love, then, chopsticks, here we come !!!

Questions
When you’re working on the three “piano legs” in your life, do you tend to do it separately or together ??? With your loving neighbors, do you have “different sets” of loving neighbors ??? (I know I do) … how do you go about loving them differently ???
