with Father’s day comin’ up tomorrow, i wanted to take a moment and give a shout out to the three most amazing dad’s on the planet … and that got me thinkin’ …. ya know, to get that title, there’s a LOT of role’s you have to fill … sometimes you have to be the family man, sometimes you need to be the vacation planner, sometimes the disciplinarian, sometimes the handyman (shoutout to duct tape and wd40!) and sometimes you have to be the class clown, and, sometimes you have to just, well, be there … my dad (“C3” as Mammaw Ruth always called him) filled that role in spades, and, as i got older and became a dad, i learned it was because he had a LOT of help from a couple of GREAT teachers, his dad and his father in law … now … you may be askin’ ole “C4” why am i ramblin’ ‘bout this as an SSA ??? welp, i’m getting’ round tuit (see what i did there!) …. you see, in thinkin’ bout dad, and all of the awesomeness that he did in all of those roles throughout my life it got me thinkin’ ‘bout another father i’ve got …. yup … and it’s one WE share … you got it … we’re brothers from another mother you and i !!! … you see, OUR FATHER literally sent down HIS son to make the mold on how to do this whole raisin’ kids thing so we can try our best to do it, and, thanks to Him, folks like C3 did an awesome job and, with his teachings (and His guidance!) maybe D and lil’bit will one day say “C4” did ok too 😊 … Happy Fathers Day to all of you Dads out there !!!!
