after finishing up work today a was watchin’ lil’bit and saw him peerin’ into a big box we’d left out for just that purpose … well, that and for explorin’ and any other things a toddler would want to do with it and it got me thinkin’ bout what folks see when they visit the house (be nice, we DO have a toddler!) …. besides the mess, i mean, what does our house say to folks ??? (well, even the mess, i guess that means it’s “lived in” and that we can’t afford a maid, but, i digress) … even before getting to the house you see hope and love hanging out on our front door, coming in a clock hand crafted by my dad with the clockwork “off center” but lovingly placed where i was born is on one wall while another wall hangs one of Toni’s favorite Bible verses, which happens to be one of her mom’s favorite ones, too … you see, faith, hope, and love surround our home and family … THAT’S what lil’bit will see EVERY time he looks into EVERY box and room in this home … and that’s thanks to our Lord and Savior not being a guest, but, being the Head of THIS household … how ‘bout yours ???
