Chores Chores Chores

don’t know about you, but, around here, Saturday has turned out to be “chores day” … yeah, we still usually end up doing something fun (yesterday we had a BLAST with lil’bit trying to figure out how to do some stretches!) but, chores did make up a good part of the day … now, why, you ask, am I writing ‘bout chores day ??? good question … i’m glad you asked !!!! you see, i’m actually up the next morning adding to the chores list ‘cause there’s some tuit’s that i need to get “round” to making (see what i did there!) ‘cause i’ve given so many out over the past couple of weeks, and, that got me thinkin … there’s chores that come in different categories, all important, but, different, just the same … there’s those that we do strictly for us that we like (shopping, cooking) … those that we do for us that we don’t like (cleaning, bill paying, cleaning, house upkeep, laundry, cleaning) … and those that we do for others (i’ll let you decide how much you like those, like taking care of the pets, helping neighbors, and, in my case, making round tuits) … so, with the different “buckets” of chores, how’s about taking the last one on the list and seeing if you can match, at least 1 for 1, each of your other chores, with something from that bucket … now, i know that there’s only so many hours in the day and so many hours in the week and that’s not always possible, but, if we’re always on the lookout for something we can do for others, in this ole’ guy’s opinion, it tends to make ALL of our week go smoother, not just the 6 days that we’re not thinkin’ about not doing the Saturday chores 😛 …. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve gotta get back round tuit 😀 …. see what i did there……

Bible Verses

Colossians 3:12-17 / Proverbs 12:9-14

Questions

how many chores are you responsible for ???? if you took one off of a loved one’s list, would it make their life easier ???? and (be honest) would it be that much of a burden on you ???? how about the “third list” of chores …. can you think of any creative ones ???? would love to hear about them !!!!
