got a question for you … (i know i know, for those of you that read these ssa’s on http://www.askapop.com, you know that the questions come at the end!) … how many of you use “to do lists” (or, in today’s world, i guess they’re “task lists”) ??? personally, i use’m for a lot of stuff, at work, it keeps my desktop nice and colorful (all that red really adds a “pop” of color!) and, at home, we have a shared grocery list that the 4 of us will add to all week so things can get added to, and, well, you get the point … while looking at our grocery list this morning (it’s one of the pics, please don’t judge!) it got me thinking about preparations … you see, we spend ALL WEEK, literally, planning for the couple hours or so i’ll spend strolling around grocery stores to make sure that (a) my time there is efficient and (b) we get what we need … now, let’s put that up against how much time we spend preparing our “hearts and minds” to spend time with Him each day, each week …. hmmm … kinda takes ya back … i’ll be honest, taking up this new ministry of sharing ssa’s across multiple platforms multiple times each week has really upped my “game” when it comes to my time with Him … i’ve always been good at the seeing Him everywhere and sharing His story, but, exercising my “study” muscles … well, it’s been since the last Disciple class that i’ve done it as much as i have the past 6 months … i guess this was the push He needed to give to this ole guy to get my wheels turnin’ again … what about you …. how’s your study game today ??? and, as i’m still workin’ on this log in my eye, i’m in no shape to ask anyone about it, but, i will give some advice … whether it be a great devotional series (Toni has found some AWESOME ones, let me know if you want, we can link them) or, books, or a class at church, or daily Bible reading, or, well, anything … time with Him is always well spent … just my $.02 … have an awesome day, and, pray for me as i now go forth into the fray that is the modern day grocery store !!!!
