okokok … i think y’all’ve all heard the phrase “seeing is believing” or, at least most of you have … would you agree ??? well … would you know that for years when teaching Sunday School i used to tell the kids (heck, and still do to this day to anyone that’ll listen to this ole’ coot!) that, faith, for me, is kinda like Lucy told Scot Calvin way back in the movie “The Santa Clause” (i’m dating myself again, aren’t i!) when he was at the north pole and saw the workshop and was flabbergasted and told her “i see it, but I don’t believe it” … she told him “seeing isn’t believing, believing is SEEING” … you know what … that sums up my faith PERFECTLY !!! i’m sure that a scientist can come up with a hundred reasons for the cloud in the sky or the reason why our cat sits on top of the faucet to watch when we bathe, or the way lil’bit is constantly figuring different things out, or, even that red moon hung in the sky last night, and, having gone to school and read all of the papers, yes, i know that those wheels in motion allowed those things to happen, but, everytime i see the outcome of those wheels, i think of the ONE that SPOKE those wheels into motion and looks down on me everytime i do something exceptionally stupid and shakes His head and says, “yup, that’s my boy,” right before showing me another reason and reminder to repent (a fancy word for turn around and don’t act a fool again, or at least try not to!) …. seeing the red moon last night got me thinking about this ssaalert today … it was either this or singing a rousing rendition of “Blue Moon” to y’all … you’re welcome …. God Bless, and, if it’s not too much trouble, i’d love to hear about a God Sighting from y’all …
