LadyBug

Ok … We don’t do sponsors, but, if we did, this one may as well be sponsored by Kleenex, ‘cause i needed them and you may too … Just a warnin!!!

While my beloved was learnin’ how to patch a hole in a wall yesterday (i showed her cause we have a toddler in the house !!!)  The aftermath then involved a bit of “light” (ha!) sanding which then turned into a LOT of cleaning … This is when things changed … You see, she pulled out a little tuft of hair that’s making me cry again just thinkin about it …

It belonged to Lady … Or LadyBug as we always called her 🙂 …

She found us while we were visiting my dad way back in 2008 and literally on the 3rd day she was with us, hopped into the center of our over full truck and made the trip to Florida …

She helped the OG Lil’Bit go from boy to man, and watched our family thrive for a decade and a half before deciding her race was run and it was time to go chase as many squirrels and birds as she wanted across the Rainbow Bridge.

Looking at our first scripture today got me thinking … Some folks see that word “Dominion” and think that it means “I’m the boss” … How sad … It really means caring for, loving, and, as Christ ultimately showed .. Being willing to give everything for …

I know that my son is a better father today to his child because LadyBug showed him how to love and take care of her better … It’s amazing what these wonderful furry, feathered, (and even scaly!) family members teach us if we only let them …

Just a thought from a crying mess here … We still miss you LadyBug, and always will !!!!
