Are change purses still a thing ??? (for y’all born after the turn of the millennium, that’s those metal thingies that we old people used to carry in our pockets next to the paper money before everyone started paying with their phones or with fairy dust) … Anyhoo, instead of a change purse, i carry a “Round Tuit Purse” so as not to get the Round Tuits that i give out to folks dirty or wet … Why is this information relevant you ask ??? Good Question 😀 …

You see, as i went to reload my “purse” today i noticed i was very low (a great problem to have!) on backups so it was time to make reinforcements … As i was doing so, it allowed me a moment to think through the journey that this ministry has taken over the past half century …

My beloved Pappeye started handing these things out before i was old enough to remember, so, they’ve always been a part of my life … All a part of his ministry up in North Charleston, WV  … So, when the Lord put it on my heart to make sure that his legacy kept on, we did so from where we are now here in Central Florida … That’s important because, well, while “Charley West” is a great place to visit, i’d venture to say a fair few more folks tend to travel through the land of Disney, Universal, Cape Canaveral, Daytona Beach, Tampa Bay … The vacation capital of the world!

In addition, instead of just the men’s fellowship breakfast once a month to spread the additional “seeds” of hope, thanks to QR codes, the internet, podcasting and social media, we’re now available 24×7 to all who wish to visit.  This means that, to date, folks in 48 countries have heard or read our family motto of “It’s not what we gain but what we give that measures the worth of the life we live” … Along with a gentle reminder that we’re always asked to Love God and Love our Neighbor !!!

If you’d like to have some tuits to pass out or would like the templates to make your own, please reach out to us and we’ll be happy to make either one of those things happen !!!
