wow … lots to go over and just a little time, and, as you know, i’m so good with not running my mouth (ha!) … so … this should be interesting 🙂 … you see, last night was skate night for my beloved’s school … an awesome idea where the kids go and get to meet up in a safe environment after school at a sponsored event where the school gets a little bit of the money back … now, being that i’m the only “skater” in the house (read that as the only one that doesn’t fall down a bunch) and lil’bit now has some wheels, i’m on it … you’re never too old to hop out on the roller rink and get your 70’s vibes a happenin’ 🙂 … today we celebrate “donut day” around here … you see, years ago when OG lil’bit’s adoption was finalized we asked him what he wanted to do to celebrate and he said “get donuts” so …… donunt day !!!! … “interesting tidbits, cec, but outside of the possible head injury from the fall last night, is there any reason why you’re tellin’ us this???” i’m sure is what’s on your mind … great question 🙂 … you see, He has NEVER promised any of us a bed of roses nor “rainbows and unicorns” and He’ll never promise to make things perfect, but, keeping our eyes on Him and trusting in Him always leads to where we’re supposed to be … Toni and i on our wedding day all those years ago had so many plans, hopes, and dreams …. and, let me let you in on a secret … MOST of them didn’t work out … but, let me let you in on a different secret … what HAS happened is SO MUCH MORE … at first i was going to only put the first 8 verses of the Ecclesiastes reading in today, but, then decided to put the whole chapter (it’s not that much) because, it IS our body of work in Him and for Him that makes … well … us 🙂 … just a guy that’s soooo very sore, but, most of all from smiling 🙂 ….
