Making My List ….

ok … full disclosure here … i’m really trying to get the 2 by 6 by 12 out of my eye while writing this !!!! so … as many of you know (welp, as of now, everyone reading or hearing this now know!) saturdays is my day to shop and, to that end, it’s planning time … that means first i figure out basically what i want to cook the family through the week then I go through and make a list to see what we need to make it happen, then, before going to make it happen, consult with my bossman and fill both of our bellies so neither of us stray from the list and then grab the “murse” with the money and head out the door … so … why the SSA ??? while driving to our shopping mecca, it hit me … how much planning, forethought, and timing went into our outing versus … gulp … our SUNDAY outing …. now …. how happy do you think our maker would be if we gave Him anywhere NEAR the same thought as our bellies before heading out to visit His house on His day ??? that one made me think … maybe it’ll make you think too … heck, maybe you already got this one down in spades and it’s just me that thinks more of prepping for his meals than he does of prepping for going to church, but, i’ll tell you what, i think round here, THAT’S about to change … just a thought from a guy with a lot of groceries and even more on his mind …

Bible Verses

Psalm 100 / Matthew 7:1-5
