Neat and Tidy … Sometimes

while workin away today i noticed somethin’ ‘bout my office … there’s pockets of “neat and tidy” and pockets of “controlled chaos” and, you know what, my 27 year old self that first started teachin project management to new server managers years ago would absolutely flip out over it, but, i guess i’m two of him now, so, i guess that means i can out vote him 😊 … please stick with me, there’s an ssa comin’, i promise 😊 … you see, that young whippersnapper used to teach that the only way to be efficient was to have everything in it’s place so you could know exactly where it was … and, my work areas are still just that, for work, got my tablet and computer at the ready, keyboard ready for keyboardin’, plenty of space cleared off for scribblin’, etc etc, and, for my bible research, got my hymnal, bibles, notepads and a clear shot at them, but, just as important i have a CLEAR VIEW of the LIFETIME that’s happened in the last quarter century here and the memories that happened outside of this room that have been brought into it …. my beloved brother’s motorcycle helmet, gifts and trinkets that have been handed down over the years from family members no longer with us, a painting from my Nanny, a game that we played WAY too much in college, a … well, you get the picture (actually, 3 of them!) … but, what i’m getting at is while it doesn’t lead to efficiency, it leads to a happy and healthy heart, which DOES lead to efficiency

Bible Verse

Ecclesiastes 3
