somethin’ i’ve noticed, and, if i’m nothin’ else, i’m a noticer … it seems the more times someone gets lucky enough to circle the sun the more special days get to be in that person’s life … yeah, sure, there’s the big’un’s that’s there for everyone, you know, Christmas, New Years, the 4^th of July (sorry, that’s just for the Americans readin’ this) and so on, and, then there’s the fun ones that change each year like Easter and Pentecost and Thanksgiving (again, an American one) and, i could go on, but, then there’s the ones that mean a LOT to some and not so much to others, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, forever family days, well, you get my meaning … usually there’s some form or another of some (or all) of the following: cake, candles, cards, pictures, and / or get togethers … or, sometimes it’s just smiles and fond memories, but, they’re SPECIAL days that really MEAN something to the folks involved … now, one thing that most all of these things have in common (the last ones on the list, i mean) is that (a) someone that REALLY loves you had something to do with it and (b) someone you REALLY love has something to do with it, so, i’m thinking, hey, “i know a guy” (said with my best/worst “jersey” accent) that happens to REALLY REALLY love us all, so, how’s about we try and make a crazy pact to make as many special days around the calendar as possible (i can check with both iCal and gCal and they’d be up to the challenge, they can handle the invites :-P) … God is Good … All the Time !!! All the Time … God is Good !!!
